Hi, I’m Jason Epstein, MD, MBA —
but please just call me Jason.
I take my work seriously—but not myself. I’m a board-certified sports medicine physician with a deep obsession for the basic sciences, especially how the body can heal itself when given the right tools.
I specialize in orthobiologics, chronic tendinopathy, and nerve entrapments, and I’ve shaped my practice around people who have “tried everything” yet still don’t have answers.
Whether you’re an athlete, active professional, or weekend warrior, my mission is simple: help you get better, faster, with treatments that are thoughtful, evidence-informed, and tailored to how your body works. Because the best medicine doesn’t just fix a problem—it helps you rediscover what you’re capable of.
To me, great care is equal parts science, collaboration, and empathy. Every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and truly guided—not rushed through a diagnosis.
Sooo much school…
Born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, I now call Central Florida home. I started at Syracuse, earned my medical degree from St. George’s University, and kicked things off with a general surgery internship at Einstein Healthcare in Philadelphia. From there, I completed my family medicine residency at Inspira Health in New Jersey, then wrapped up with a sports medicine fellowship at Halifax Health in Florida.
And somewhere along the way, I figured it was a great idea to get my MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business—equal parts to understand the business side of medicine and because I have a hard time turning down a good challenge.
Beyond the Clinic
When I’m not in clinic or the training room, I’m often working on research protocols or collaborating with colleagues to refine new approaches for chronic soft tissue injuries.
I also hold academic appointments with Florida State University, University of Central Florida and Loma Linda University. Teaching keeps me sharp, curious, and humbled.
Additionally, I’m an active member of the following as well as a few others that prove I’ve spent far too many weekends at conferences:
The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine
The American College of Sports Medicine
The Interventional Orthobiologic Foundation (IOF)
The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI)
The Performing Arts Medicine Association
